In 1795 Daniel Lipmann acquired what was then the Administration Building of the Metternichs and turned it into an inn.

Eight generations later the property still belongs to the same family. Over time, the local inn has evolved into Hotel 'Haus Lipmann' - today a choice venue on the Moselle.
